Georgiana had been suffering with chronic pelvic and abdominal pain for years.  She was unable to work because of increasing fatigue due to her pain and didn’t have any health insurance.

“By the grace of God, I heard about Shepherd’s Hope,” she says. “After I was examined by a wonderful and caring doctor, I finally began to see a light at the end of a very long tunnel.”

Unfortunately, it was determined that Georgiana had a cancerous condition and surgery was necessary to remove a large tumor and perform a complete hysterectomy.

Georgiana says her faith has gotten her through a very difficult physical and emotional recovery. “Without the help of Shepherd’s Hope and its incredibly wonderful volunteers and staff, I would not be where I am today — cancer free!”
