Michael Raddick has made his career as a business owner in the wood industry, and is currently President of Hawthorne Industrial Products and General Manager of USPly, Inc. (a specialty plywood importer).

Michael has volunteered at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in many different capacities over the years, and was lucky to have been a part of the formation of Shepherd’s Hope.  AT work, he enjoys mentoring younger people who are eager to learn and grow in the wood industry.

Michael’s leisure time is spent with his extended family or traveling with his wife, Becky.  They enjoy hiking in the National Parks, snow skiing, and visiting new places where they haven’t been before.

Terry McCorvie is President and CEO of Workable Solutions, Inc., an Orlando company that specializes in the administration of insurance exchanges and defined contribution benefit plans.  In his spare time, Terry enjoys golfing, bike riding and ballroom dancing.

Terry is an active volunteer with Jobs Partnership Florida, where he mentors students in job related skills, and is also an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Alice Norsworthy is Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Universal Orlando, and is responsible for the oversight of Universal Orlando’s Marketing and Sales divisions for Universal Parks & Resorts.  In that capacity, Alice oversees all brand and retail marketing efforts, research and consumer insights, guest contact center, trade and distribution programs.  She joined Universal Orlando in September 2008 and is on the Universal Orlando Foundation Board of Directors.

Previously, Alice served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Royal Caribbean International.  During her time there, she led the development and implementation of the marketing programs that grew the Royal Caribbean brand and launched the Freedom Class of cruise ships.  Alice has also held a variety of senior roles at Walt Disney World.

Alice has been recognized by Advertising Age as one of America’s Top 50 marketers, and named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Travel three times by Travel Agent Magazine.

Alice is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville.

David Aiken

David Aiken is the CFO for Global Shared Services (GSS) Region Americas for Siemens Corporation.

David joined Seimens in 2002.  As CFO for Global Shared Services Region Americas, he is responsible for all aspects of financial control and reporting for the GSS business, and partners with Business Line leaders in continuing to develop the delivery of shared services in the Americas.  David is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and effective risk management and internal controls, as well as effective Business Administration and financial planning.

Before joining Siemens, David held senior finance roles with The Pillsbury Company (based in Minnesota) including Controller of the company’s International Business Unit and leading the integration of two acquisitions made in the Food Service Business Unit.  Previously, David also worked for Grand Metropolitan in both Paris and London.

David received a Batchelor of Science in Accounting and Management Studies from the University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom.

David L. Evans

David Evans is an AV-rated attorney with over 33 years of experience in representing healthcare clients in Central Florida, and is board certified by The Florida Bar in healthcare law.  He represents a large regional hospital system that includes hospital facilities, a managed care subsidiary, home health agency, nursing homes, and clinics.  David has also served as counsel for a variety of ancillary healthcare providers and physician practices.

David received his Bachelors Degree with Honors from Duke University in 1975, and received his law degree in 1978 from the University of Virginia School of Law.  He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.

David has been active in medical staff issues, including credentialing and disciplinary proceedings, physician contracting (including hospital-based physicians), organizing and administering hospitalist programs, managed care contracting with payors and providers, and such current issues as EMTALA compliance, emergency room call, HIPAA compliance, medical staff bylaws, contract review, compliance programs, Joint Commission, antitrust, and health system affiliations.

David is listed in Super Lawyers listing of the best attorneys in the State of Florida in the healthcare law category, and is listed as being among the best attorneys in Orlando in healthcare law by Orlando Magazine.  He is also recognized as being among Florida’s best lawyers in the healthcare law field in Florida Monthly, and was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of healthcare law.

Karen A. Breakell, MBA, APR

Karen Breakell is the Director of Community Engagement for Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH).  In her role, she is responsible for building relationships with community leaders essential to the success of new hospitals and providing engagement support to the NCH leadership team.

A Central Florida resident for 21 years, Karen moved to the area to work for the Walt Disney World Company, developing community programs to build advocacy and support with the community and key leaders.  A Nationally Accredited Public Relations Professional (APR) with more than 27 years experience, she previously served as Florida Communications Manager for Progress Energy, and as Director of Constituent Relations in the President’s office at the University of Central Florida.

In March 2006, Karen joined Nemours as the Director of Public and Community Relations for Central Florida, and was promoted to Florida Public and Community Relations Director in April of 2007. During that time period, Karen also led Communications for the new Nemours Children’s Hospital.

Karen is a long-standing member and former state and local President of the Public Relations Society of America.  In addition to Shepherd’s Hope, she serves on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida and Business Force.  Active in the community, she presently serves on the Leadership Committee for the March of Dimes March for Babies, as President of the Board for the Central Florida Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis, as Chair of the Lake Nona Communications Council and as Co-Chair of the Medical City Government Relations Task Force.

Karen holds a Batchelor of Arts degree in Communication from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Bickley Wilson

Bickley Wilson is a retired psychotherapist specializing in addictions, marriage and family.  She grew up in Lakeland, Florida, and moved to the Orlando area in 1970 to work for Disney.

Bickley has two children and four grandchildren.  Much of her time is spent with her two local grandchildren, ages 2 and 3.  Bickley serves on the board of her condominium, 100 Women Strong, and the MRT Foundation Board, which is a foundation sponsoring treatment for addicts.  Bickley’s passion is small children and art.

Bickley was first introduced to Shepherd’s Hope some years ago by a former Board Member who invited her to attend the Call to Hope Breakfast.  She has been a contributor ever since, and feels very honored to serve on the Shepherd’s Hope Board of Directors.

Kari Conley, APR

Kari Conley has more than 15 years of professional experience in developing and managing public relations, community relations and fundraising events while leveraging partners to incorporate brand marketing and social responsibility in the community.

In her current role as Director of Community Relations for Orlando Health, Kari oversees the community relations and charitable investments for the family of seven Orlando Health facilities – Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.  Orlando Health provides the area’s only Level One Trauma service for adults and pediatrics, and also gives back more than 225 million dollars in value to the community of Central Florida.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Kari served as the Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation for the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team for 10 years.  In this role, she was responsible for raising nearly one million dollars per year benefiting local non-profit organizations, as well as overseeing the Magic Volunteer Program and strategic partnerships in the areas of health and wellness, art and education.  She also worked in public relations and communications at Carlman Broker Reis Public Relations and the Salvation Army National Headquarters in Washington D.C.

Kari earned her Batchelor of Arts degree from Samford University and her Master of Arts from Baylor University.  She is accredited in Public Relations and, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Shepherd’s Hope, she is also on the Board of Children’s Home Society, United Arts and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Kari and her husband, Chad, have two children – Carson (8) and Camryn (7) – and reside in Lake Mary, Florida.

Ralph Zeigler

Ralph Zeigler is the Managing Member of BTU Capital, LLC, which provides business and financial consulting services for small and mid-sized companies.

Ralph has held senior management positions with Fortune 500 companies, as well as mid-market and small companies in a variety of industries, including public accounting, banking, real estate development, hospitality and energy. He has served in operational, transactional and strategic roles. Ralph’s professional career began with PWC, CPA’s where he spent six years, but most of his career has been spent working with start-up businesses.  Ralph served as the initial Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the start-up of the Disney Vacation Club – an industry leader in service delivery and product innovation.  With an emphasis on finance, Ralph has sourced and managed over $3 billion in capital, and is presently consulting with companies in developing business plans and establishing capital strategy and sourcing.

Ralph graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Accounting and is a CPA.

Ralph and his wife, Linda, live in Windermere, Florida and have five children.  They are members of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and are active volunteers with several organizations.

Sara R. Brady

Sara Brady is the CEO & President of Sara Brady Public Relations, Inc.  Leveraging 20 years of experience in communications disciplines ranging from traditional corporate communications to crisis and reputation management, Sara Brady established Sara Brady Public Relations, Inc. in January of 2010.

Sara has spent her career in communications, beginning as a news reporter for the Orlando Sentinel.  She later worked in the defense industry and transitioned into public relations agency work, using her journalism and public relations skills and experiences with clients ranging from healthcare organizations, law firms, and ultimately in the cable industry at Bright House Networks, where she worked as Vice President of Public Affairs for more than five years.

Before coming to Bright House, Sara oversaw division operations at Wragg & Casas Public Relations, the state’s largest independently owned public relations firm.  As Managing Director, Sara was responsible for opening and directing the Miami-based firm’s Central Florida Division.

Sara’s career has included leading proactive communications campaigns to assist in litigation involving controversial issues, hostile corporate takeovers, attempted union campaigns and activities, and national cable programming controversies.

Sara has been named one of Orlando Magazine’s Most Powerful People three years in a row, based on her extensive contacts and relationships, and as a confidante and strategic advisor to some of the community’s most influential individuals.  Additionally, Sara is the recipient of two prestigious Beacon Awards – the cable industry’s highest communications award – as well as two Golden Image Awards from the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) and the statewide chapter.
