<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Steven M. Gallas completed his Family Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando in 2010 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.  His undergraduate degree in BioMedical Science is from the University of South Alabama and his Master of Science in Pharmacology was awarded by Tulane University.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Gallas currently practices Family Medicine at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Debary, FL, and provides urgent care at Florida Hospital Centra Care in Orlando, FL. In a volunteer position, he serves as Preceptor for the Family Medicine Residency in East Orlando.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A physician volunteer with Shepherd’s Hope since 2008, Dr. Gallas also has logged extensive volunteer hours across many years providing school physicals at health fairs. His additional interests include sports, movies, and spending time with his wife and two children.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Lee M. Adler, D.O. is Vice President and Chief Quality and Safety Officer for Florida Hospital, one of America’s largest hospitals. With more than 2,100 beds, the seven-hospital system admits more patients annually than any other hospital in the U.S. and is the largest provider of Medicare services. Dr. Adler has been with Florida Hospital since 1998 and has held positions including Medical Director of Florida Hospital Healthcare System, Medical Director of Case Management and Utilization, and Medical Director of Clinical Performance Improvement.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Adler received his Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science degrees from Rutgers University and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also attended Cleveland Clinic for Internal Medicine and Yale University for Infectious Disease. Dr. Adler is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Quality Assessment and Utilization Review Physicians.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Adler is a member of the Orange County Medical Society, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Medical Association, National Quality Forum, Florida Hospital Osteopathic Foundation Board, American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization, and American College of Physicians Executives. He also serves the community through his involvement in the State of Florida Department of Corrections Specialty Physicians Services and serves as a board member for the Area Health Education Center.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Michael has volunteered at St. Luke&#8217;s United Methodist Church in many different capacities over the years, and was lucky to have been a part of the formation of Shepherd&#8217;s Hope.  AT work, he enjoys mentoring younger people who are eager to learn and grow in the wood industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Michael&#8217;s leisure time is spent with his extended family or traveling with his wife, Becky.  They enjoy hiking in the National Parks, snow skiing, and visiting new places where they haven&#8217;t been before.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Alice Norsworthy is Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Universal Orlando, and is responsible for the oversight of Universal Orlando&#8217;s Marketing and Sales divisions for Universal Parks &amp; Resorts.  In that capacity, Alice oversees all brand and retail marketing efforts, research and consumer insights, guest contact center, trade and distribution programs.  She joined Universal Orlando in September 2008 and is on the Universal Orlando Foundation Board of Directors.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Previously, Alice served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Royal Caribbean International.  During her time there, she led the development and implementation of the marketing programs that grew the Royal Caribbean brand and launched the Freedom Class of cruise ships.  Alice has also held a variety of senior roles at Walt Disney World.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Alice has been recognized by <em>Advertising Age</em> as one of America&#8217;s Top 50 marketers, and named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Travel three times by <em>Travel Agent </em>Magazine.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">David Aiken is the CFO for Global Shared Services (GSS) Region Americas for Siemens Corporation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">David joined Seimens in 2002.  As CFO for Global Shared Services Region Americas, he is responsible for all aspects of financial control and reporting for the GSS business, and partners with Business Line leaders in continuing to develop the delivery of shared services in the Americas.  David is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and effective risk management and internal controls, as well as effective Business Administration and financial planning.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Before joining Siemens, David held senior finance roles with The Pillsbury Company (based in Minnesota) including Controller of the company&#8217;s International Business Unit and leading the integration of two acquisitions made in the Food Service Business Unit.  Previously, David also worked for Grand Metropolitan in both Paris and London.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Karen Breakell is the Director of Community Engagement for Nemours Children&#8217;s Hospital (NCH).  In her role, she is responsible for building relationships with community leaders essential to the success of new hospitals and providing engagement support to the NCH leadership team.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A Central Florida resident for 21 years, Karen moved to the area to work for the Walt Disney World Company, developing community programs to build advocacy and support with the community and key leaders.  A Nationally Accredited Public Relations Professional (APR) with more than 27 years experience, she previously served as Florida Communications Manager for Progress Energy, and as Director of Constituent Relations in the President&#8217;s office at the University of Central Florida.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In March 2006, Karen joined Nemours as the Director of Public and Community Relations for Central Florida, and was promoted to Florida Public and Community Relations Director in April of 2007. During that time period, Karen also led Communications for the new Nemours Children&#8217;s Hospital.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Karen is a long-standing member and former state and local President of the Public Relations Society of America.  In addition to Shepherd&#8217;s Hope, she serves on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida and Business Force.  Active in the community, she presently serves on the Leadership Committee for the March of Dimes <em>March for Babies</em>, as President of the Board for the Central Florida Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis, as Chair of the Lake Nona Communications Council and as Co-Chair of the Medical City Government Relations Task Force.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Bickley has two children and four grandchildren.  Much of her time is spent with her two local grandchildren, ages 2 and 3.  Bickley serves on the board of her condominium, 100 Women Strong, and the MRT Foundation Board, which is a foundation sponsoring treatment for addicts.  Bickley&#8217;s passion is small children and art.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Bickley was first introduced to Shepherd&#8217;s Hope some years ago by a former Board Member who invited her to attend the Call to Hope Breakfast.  She has been a contributor ever since, and feels very honored to serve on the Shepherd&#8217;s Hope Board of Directors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In her current role as Director of Community Relations for Orlando Health, Kari oversees the community relations and charitable investments for the family of seven Orlando Health facilities &#8211; Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women &amp; Babies, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.  Orlando Health provides the area&#8217;s only Level One Trauma service for adults and pediatrics, and also gives back more than 225 million dollars in value to the community of Central Florida.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Prior to joining Orlando Health, Kari served as the Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation for the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team for 10 years.  In this role, she was responsible for raising nearly one million dollars per year benefiting local non-profit organizations, as well as overseeing the Magic Volunteer Program and strategic partnerships in the areas of health and wellness, art and education.  She also worked in public relations and communications at Carlman Broker Reis Public Relations and the Salvation Army National Headquarters in Washington D.C.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Kari earned her Batchelor of Arts degree from Samford University and her Master of Arts from Baylor University.  She is accredited in Public Relations and, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Shepherd&#8217;s Hope, she is also on the Board of Children&#8217;s Home Society, United Arts and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Kari and her husband, Chad, have two children &#8211; Carson (8) and Camryn (7) &#8211; and reside in Lake Mary, Florida.</p>
