Jayne Willis was appointed Chief Nursing Officer at Orlando Regional Medical Center in April 2011.  She is responsible for the day to day operations of Nursing Services at ORMC.  Jayne started her career with ORH in 1982 as a graduate nurse and has held multiple nursing leadership positions for the past 29 years at several Orlando Health facilities. Immediately prior to her current role, Jayne served as the Patient Care Administrator for cardiovascular services at ORMC.  She earned her Masters of Nursing Degree in 1997 from University of Florida and a Bachelors Degree from Florida State University in 1982.  She is certified as a Nursing Executive/Advanced by the American Nursing Credentialing Center.

Jayne serves on the Advisory Council for the University of Central Florida School of Nursing.  She is a Shepherd’s Hope clinic volunteer and is a past Chair of the Shepherd’s Hope Board of Directors.  Jayne’s other administrative responsibilities include membership in the Nurse Executive Council for Orlando Health, Facilitator for the Bioethics committee, and Orlando Health liaison for the AHA Heart Walk.  She is currently on the board of the UCF chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and a past president as well as a past president of the local chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.  Additionally she is a member of Florida Organization of Nurse Executive and the Florida Bioethics Network.  Jayne recently co-chaired the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women luncheon and is a member of the Central Florida Women’s League.  She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando, Class 69.
