Kari Conley, APR
Board Member
Kari Conley has more than 15 years of professional experience in developing and managing public relations, community relations and fundraising events while leveraging partners to incorporate brand marketing and social responsibility in the community.
In her current role as Director of Community Relations for Orlando Health, Kari oversees the community relations and charitable investments for the family of seven Orlando Health facilities – Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Orlando Health provides the area’s only Level One Trauma service for adults and pediatrics, and also gives back more than 225 million dollars in value to the community of Central Florida.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Kari served as the Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation for the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team for 10 years. In this role, she was responsible for raising nearly one million dollars per year benefiting local non-profit organizations, as well as overseeing the Magic Volunteer Program and strategic partnerships in the areas of health and wellness, art and education. She also worked in public relations and communications at Carlman Broker Reis Public Relations and the Salvation Army National Headquarters in Washington D.C.
Kari earned her Batchelor of Arts degree from Samford University and her Master of Arts from Baylor University. She is accredited in Public Relations and, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Shepherd’s Hope, she is also on the Board of Children’s Home Society, United Arts and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Kari and her husband, Chad, have two children – Carson and Camryn – and reside in Lake Mary, Florida.
