Nina Yon
Board Member

Nina Yon is the Director of Global Business Development for Florida Hospital’s Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement. Prior to her work at Florida Hospital, Nina worked for seven years in one of the nation’s leading convention and visitors bureaus, as well as the second largest convention center facility in the United States. She also worked in sales, marketing and management in the competitive industry of five-star resorts and corporate hotels for more than ten years.

With a passion to serve others, Nina has expanded her helping attitude to organizations in the Central Florida community. In addition to serving on the Shepherd’s Hope Board of Directors, Nina also volunteers at Shepherd’s Hope Health Centers and is a member of the Famous Faces Masquerade Ball committee. Nina is a member of the Dr. Phillips Rotary and also serves on the board of directors at Harbor House as well as the Asian American Chamber of Commerce where she was elected as their Senior Vice-President of Business Development.

Nina Yon obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. She also completed courses in lodging, continental food service and European Beverage Management at the Hotel Consult Cesar Ritz in Switzerland. Nina is passionate about helping others and putting her service-centered attitude to work for the community.
