Pia Valvassori, ARNP, PhD
Board Member

Pia Valvassori graduated in 1996 from the University of Florida with a PhD in Public Health.  She is a family nurse practitioner and has been at the Health Care Center for the Homeless for 15 years. In addition, she is a clinical researcher with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council and Clinical Faculty at the University of Central Florida.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Shepherd’s Hope, she has also served on the Board of Directors for the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida, the Florida Coalition for the Homeless and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council.

Pia is the recipient of numerous service related awards from the Florida Nurses Association, The National Health Care for the Homeless Council and Marquette University.
